Skunk botia

The skunk botia from the Mekong, Chao Phraya and Mae Klong basins has a dark stripe along its back. It lives in medium and large rivers, hiding in rock crevices or burrows it digs under rocks and logs, and eats molluscs and other bottom invertebrates. In the wet season it moves into flooded areas. It is common in the hobby; trade fish are generally farm-bred.
