Montezuma swordtail

The Montezuma swordtail comes from the Pánuco basin in northeastern Mexico, from clear, flowing rivers and streams. The metallic green male has a very long, straight tail 'sword' that can exceed its body length; the female is larger. A livebearer. It reaches about 6 to 7.5 centimetres.
