Spectracanthicus zuanoni

The white-spot pleco (L020) is endemic to the Xingu basin in Pará, Brazil. It lives on rocky bottoms with strong current, down to 2 metres, hiding under rocks, alone or in threes. Nocturnal, it grazes algae and periphyton off the stones.
