Buenos Aires tetra
Psalidodon anisitsi
The Buenos Aires tetra comes from the Río de la Plata basin (Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and southeastern Brazil) — despite the name, it is not typical of Buenos Aires. Very hardy. It eats worms, crustaceans, insects and plants, including aquarium plants. It scatters its eggs among plants, and they hatch in about 24 hours.
