Blackside hawkfish

The blackside hawkfish is a marine fish from the Indo-Pacific, from the Red Sea to Japan and Australia. It has a broad dark band on the rear half of the body and red speckles on the head. It perches on coral tips waiting for small fish and crustaceans. It lives alone or in small harems. It reaches 22 centimetres.
