Giant pangasius

A giant catfish from the Mekong and Chao Phraya rivers, one of the world's largest freshwater fish. It lives in large rivers, hunts fish and crustaceans and eats carcasses. It is migratory and spawns just before the rainy season. It is critically endangered, mainly through overfishing. The young sold for aquaria come from food farms.
