Anduzi's nannostomus

The smallest pencilfish, at most 16 millimetres. It is known from only two places: the upper Orinoco in Venezuela and the Ererê River, a Rio Negro tributary in Brazil. The male has red patches on the anal and caudal fins. Its name honours the Venezuelan explorer Pablo Anduze.
