Black phantom tetra

The black phantom tetra comes from Brazil and Bolivia, from the Guaporé and upper Paraguay basins. Both sexes have a vertical black spot behind the gills; the male has black fins and a large dorsal, the female reddish fins. It is very common in the hobby, where fish are captive-bred. It reaches about 4 to 4.5 centimetres.
