William's mbuna

A mbuna endemic to Lake Malawi, known only from Makokola in the lake's southeastern arm. It lives on the upper parts of rocky reefs and leaves them for open water to feed on phytoplankton. The male is more colourful. The female mouthbroods the eggs. It reaches about 13 centimetres.
