Kryptopterus geminus

A translucent catfish from the Mekong (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam) and Chao Phraya basins, from turbid rivers. It schools and hunts fish, prawns and insects. It spawns at the start of the rainy season, and the young move into flooded areas. Until recently it was confused with Kryptopterus cryptopterus.
