Black band catfish

Corydoras zygatus

No photo yet

A Corydoras from Ecuador and northern Peru, from tributaries of the middle Marañón. The dark band on the back does not reach the underside of the tail base — which separates it from the similar Corydoras rabauti. It is now in the genus Osteogaster.
