Peppered corydoras
Corydoras paleatus
The peppered corydoras from southeastern South America, from the lower Paraná basin and coastal rivers of Brazil and Uruguay, also lives in ponds and still waters. It eats worms, crustaceans, insects and plants. The female is larger; the male has proportionally longer dorsal and pectoral fins.
