Leopard corydoras
Corydoras julii
A Corydoras with fine black spots from coastal rivers south of the Amazon mouth (Piauí, Maranhão and Pará). Many fish sold under this name are the similar Corydoras trilineatus from the upper Amazon. It lives on the bottom, sifting the substrate for small invertebrates. The female is larger and rounder. It is now in the genus Hoplisoma.
