Clown loach
Chromobotia macracanthus
The clown loach from Sumatra and Borneo, Indonesia, can reach 40 centimetres in the wild. Adults live on the bottom of main river channels, hiding under rocks and logs; in the wet season they move up tributaries to spawn, and juveniles grow up on the floodplains.
