The clown featherback from the Mekong, Chao Phraya and Mae Klong basins has a row of white-ringed black spots above the anal fin. It reaches one metre. A nocturnal predator, it spawns in flooded forest. It is often sold as Chitala chitala. It has been introduced outside its native range, for example in Florida.
