Bleher's rainbowfish

Bleher's rainbowfish is endemic to Lake Holmes, in the Mamberamo system of West Papua (Indonesia), where it lives along the densely vegetated shore. It was collected in 1982 by Gerald Allen and Heiko Bleher, after whom it is named, and described in 1985. It is endangered; fish in the trade are captive-bred. It reaches 12 centimetres.
