Ocellated snakehead

The ocellated snakehead comes from Indonesia (Sumatra and Borneo), from blackwater and clearwater rivers. It has large orange-ringed black eyespots on its flanks, plus one on the gill cover and one on the tail. It is caught for food and for the aquarium trade. It reaches 40 centimetres.
