Reticulate loach

The reticulate loach comes from Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh, from streams with rocky, gravelly bottoms. It has dark Y-shaped bands on the flank, hence the nickname 'yoyo'; the pattern changes greatly with age. Peaceful and sociable. It is usually 8 to 10 centimetres, with a maximum of 15.
