Sulfurhead Aulonocara

The sulphurhead peacock is endemic to Lake Malawi, known from just two reefs in the southeast of the lake. The male has a yellow blaze on top of the head. It lives over sand next to rocks and hunts small invertebrates. It is critically endangered by collection for the aquarium trade. The female mouthbroods the eggs.
