Apistogramma viejita
No photo yet
A dwarf cichlid from the Meta River basin in the Colombian Orinoco. When there are extra females, the male forms a harem; each female lays her eggs on the roof of a cave and tends them. It is rare in captivity: many fish sold under this name are strains of Apistogramma macmasteri.
