Blue acara
Andinoacara pulcher
The blue acara from Trinidad and Venezuela lives both in turbid still waters and in clear streams. It eats worms, crustaceans and insects. The pair cleans a stone, spawns on it and both guard the eggs and larvae. It breeds in captivity.
